Open Day 2026
On Sunday 4th October, Pendle Ski Club will be holding its annual open day to kick off the new season.
If you’ve ever considered trying skiing or snowboarding, this is the perfect opportunity to give it a go.
Whether you’re planning a family winter sports holiday and want to make the most of it by getting some lessons before you go, or have children who dream of following in the ski tracks of Dave Ryding and competing for Team GB at the Winter Olympics, we cater for all abilities with our lesson programs and race training schedule.
Our open day offers free 30-minute taster sessions for complete beginners to come and try dry slope skiing or snowboarding.

What do I need to bring?
Hopefully, the weather will be kind to us—but on Pendle Hill, you never know! It’s essential that you bring sturdy gloves, wear long trousers, and a long-sleeved top suitable for the weather conditions.
When is it?
Open day is on Sunday 4th October 2026, and the sessions will run all day from 10 am until 4 pm. The last session will start at 3:30 pm, so we recommend arriving before 3 pm. It can get extremely busy, so allow some extra time.
Do I need to book?
No, just turn up and head to the front door. The team will take your details and get you set up with equipment ready for your session.
