School and Group Bookings

by Jun 13, 2022

At Pendle Ski Club we are happy to welcome all sorts of groups to learn to ski either from complete beginners to the more accomplished skiers. If you are a leader of a Guide, Scout, Cubs, Brownies or Youth group we can organise lessons for your organisation to help your members reach towards a badge or award. Your school class has a place available at Pendle Ski Club ready for that fantastic school trip to the snowy slopes.

All our volunteer instructors are fully qualified and to reach this standard must go through a rigorous assessment of their abilities along with spending a minimum amount of time on the slope with a mentor. We also require that the instructor has a current DBS, have completed a safe guarding course and a first aid course, all organised by the club. All of these requirements are tracked by the club and are renewed on a regular basis to ensure our instructors have the very highest standards of training.

We also ensure that the we have a full risk assessment completed and recorder by Lancashire County Council, to ensure that we have the very best facilities and safety for your group to come along to learn to ski and enjoy the time while learning. The risk assessment is available through the Lancashire County Council for schools in Lancashire, for those outside of our county we can supply you with a copy.

We will work with you to accommodate the time best suited to your school or group. We will always try to fit in with a time and date that you wish however this does come on a first come first served basis and us being able to provide our advertised lessons.

To discuss you requirements further please complete the form below and our group coordinator will be in touch to plan your booking.
