Entries are now open for the NW Ski Federation Schools Race taking place on Saturday March 16th 2024 hosted by Pendle Ski Club. It is open to anyone who attends full time education from Reception class through to sixth form and is under 19 years of age. The skier must be able to ski from the top of Pendle’s slope under control. Please see attached for further information.
Racers will compete in the following age groups, with prizes for both boys’ and girls’ categories, as follows:
Infants – Reception and Y1-Y2
Juniors – Y3-Y6
Lower Senior – Y7-Y9
Upper Senior – Y10-Y11
Sixth Form – Y12-Y13
Racers enter as an individual to compete for the age group prizes but if there are 3 or more competitors from one school, then they are also eligible for the team awards. Each school team entered must provide at least one volunteer.
After entries close on Saturday 9th March 2024, a full list of competitors from each school will be sent to the Team Manager, it is then the Team Manager’s responsibility to submit the teams before Thursday 14th March 2023.
Practice sessions are available to book separately at a cost of £15.
Entries must be made via Eola, we have no facility to accept payment any other way and entries will not be accepted on the day. This can be done by individual racers (or their parents) or schools can enter multiple skiers in one transaction and then invite each skier by entering their name and email address (which in turn forwards a questionnaire to them for completion prior to the event).
