New Clubhouse Plans
The popularity of the club means that during peak season we are often creaking at the seams and on race days there is standing room only. So over the past few years the committee and existing membership have been working on plans to build a new much bigger clubhouse. The plans also include a tunnel under the slope to avoid anyone having to walk near the road. The proposals have been given planning permission and we have sufficient funds to begin some of the construction but we currently have a fair way to go to be able to complete the build.
We have now completed the first phase of the project which was to add a second tier to the car park, the next stage in the process is to investigate the requirements for the foundations for the building.
