Pendle Ski Club is a member owned club with every penny re-invested into renewing and improving the facilities we have today.

This is only possible because we have a fantastic team of volunteers who give up their free time to run and maintain the club and provide the lessons and other facilities on offer.

We are always on the lookout for more willing volunteers - there’s many ways in which you can help, including:

Looking after the club house and assisting with the tuck shop,
Ski fitting and maintenance of hire equipment,
Supporting the ski instructors during lessons (e.g. helping kids on and off the tows),
Helping out with officiating at our many club events (e.g. gate flagging),
Becoming a ski instructor (for this the club will support you in gaining the necessary qualifications).

In return we operate a voucher system, for every two hours you put into the club you will receive a voucher redeemable against 1 hours lesson or slope time.

SUMMER WORK PARTIES

It remains Pendle Ski Club’s policy to replace about one third of the matting on the main slope annually.

Our usual round of Summer work parties are about to begin to lay 80 brand new mats. This can only be done with the dedication of those members that give up their spare time to keep the slope in tip top condition.

There are a variety of other jobs that need doing to keep the Club looking presentable too!

The first work party commences at 8.30am on Saturday 30th June.
