Our Club
About Pendle Ski club – a brief history
- It was formed in 1967 and has close to 1000 member
- The club is affiliated to the British Ski Club for the Disabled and holds monthly sessions for disabled skiers. Special equipment including a ski-bob is available for a large range of disabilities.
- The club is affiliated to the Snowsport England
- Members run the club and therefore impact its future development
- Pendle hosts National Ski Races and NW schools qualification events. Members of the club provide national support for event marshalling and coordination
- We welcome all visitors and pride our self on our family friendly programme
- Pendle ski club complies with all Health and Safety and Child Protection Requirements
Vision statement
“To provide the local community and the UK with a valuable resource aimed at developing both recreational and competitive skiers and snowboarders of all ages, abilities and capabilities".

Our future development aims:
- To support the varying needs of members and visitors to the club
- To provide excellent coaching to all levels and continually improve the range and quality of our instruction
- To develop race skiiers who represent the club, their families, the NW and their country to the best of their ability
- To continually reinvest funds into the development of the club house, the ski facilities and equipment
- To promote the club and skiing in the community
